Windy City LakeShake

Another festival down! The Buckle Bus cruised from Colorado Country Jam to the Windy City in two days, just in time for LakeShake! Windy City LakeShake, put on by Live Nation was June 23, 24, 25 in downtown Chicago on Northerly Island. All of the festivals Live Nation puts on are always guaranteed to be a great time! This festival has an amazing back drop of the Chicago skyline which you can clearly see in the pictures below. SO gorgeous having the skyline behind main stage. It made for amazing sunset pics. Some things to note if you plan on attending this festival next year. The walk from the street, onto the island and to the actual festival is about a mile, that included uber drop offs. So plan ahead for this, maybe pack some comfy shoes and then change into your cute boots when you arrive, seriously, it was far! Also, pack a jacket or blanket. It was SO cold and windy starting in the late afternoon. The booth selling blankets had a line around the corner, so just keep that in mind that it gets cold, or at least did this year for sure!
